Welcome to Your Space to Heal

Deciding to grow through grief sounds like a no-brainer; Though, for many of us, it has been one of the most difficult decisions we have had to make since our loss(es). It may have felt better to try to stay busy, avoid emotions and steer clear of things that bring back painful memories. Though these things may have their place in the growing through grief process, used without intention may result in you feeling stuck.

Now that we are ready to use this collective space for growth, here are some things to consider to help us maximize what we get out of this experience.

  1. Breath: Take a moment to take a breath, and do whatever you need to, to ground yourself before logging into the group. This is one hour out of your month that you can dedicate solely to nurturing the part of you that is grieving. Try not to allow in distractions that may diminish what the group has for you that day.

  2. Notice the Comparisons: Comparing each other’s grief may not be helpful, but it is a natural human response. Instead of beating yourself up for doing so or spiraling in the comparisons, we invite you to just take notice. You may want to even write down when this comes up for you. It may be helpful to process with the group or your individual therapist.

  3. Be Gentle with Yourself: We can be gentle with ourselves in a number of ways. Days that we have group may not be the day that you opt to have something scheduled immediately after. Leave time and space to ease back into your life as you will continue to process what has come up for you that group session.

Every 4th Wednesday @ 7PM

Once you join the group, you will receive email reminders for groups, journal prompts, and affirmation statements to keep you connected with the group and your growth throughout the month.
